The Colorado Avalanche won the Stanley Cup beating Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1.

With the Colorado Avalanche accumulated on the ice Sunday night for their celebratory photograph, the Stanley Cup took an early beating.

In the repercussions of the Avalanche beating the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1 in Game 6 to win the Stanley Cup, conservative Nicolas Aube-Kubel

skated toward the scrum of partners for a group photograph with the Cup close by, just to lose his balance and hammer the prize on the ice as he fell, marking the base.

From NFL plays to school sports scores, every one of the top games news you really want to know consistently.

"I couldn't say whether they had it five minutes and there's a mark in the base as of now. Directly in the center of the group photograph," The Hockey Hall of Fame's Keeper of the Cup,

Phil Pritchard, told Denver TV slot KDVR. "I get today's another record. Five minutes into the show it's worked out. It's the initial time it's consistently occurred on the ice."

The Avalanche kept the Lightning from finishing a Stanley Cup three-peat.

It was the third Stanley Cup title in the establishment's set of experiences and first starting around 2001.

"I surmise we will have a little talk with them soon and we'll go through the course of how we will fix it," said Pritchard, "yet the Stanley Cup visit will go on."
